CRD was asked by SATORP/Aramco to undertake an ergonomic study to review an existing control building floor
plan and make recommendations on: console sizes, groupings, spacings and all aspects of traffic flows, etc. within
the control building. Within 4 weeks of project start-up, CRD had initial recommendations for the basic arrangment
of the console groupings within the control room.
   Following preparation of CRD's control room layouts, the preferred console supplier (Evans) prepared several
renderings for presentation to SATORP.
